Sheba Mason (Liz & Marla) The daughter of playwright Ginger Reiter and Comic Jackie Mason, Sheba appeared as her mother in The Jackie Mason Musical which ran OffBroadway, to sold-out crowds at Empire Stage, The BocaBlackBox Theatre, and The Lake Worth Stonzek Theatre. Ginger Reiter (Jeanie,Mae West) is the playwright/director of The Jackie Mason Musical, Solomon's 700 Wives the Musical, The Back Massage, and the current Mel Schwartz Sleeps with Mae West. Her first regional theater role was Gypsy Rose Lee at the age of sixteen. She has been performing Women of the Bible, (a comedy dramatization) in the South Florida Condo Circuit for ten years. She wishes to thank Lenore Baldwin for "Mae West " lessons and costume.
Peter Librach(Mel): has been most recently in the Regional production of the new Dan Clancy play Middletown. Prior to that he played the iconic role of Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. Other South Florida Regional theatre roles include Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Oscar Shapiro in Curtains, Sir Danvers in Jekyll and Hyde, Fagin in Oliver!, Archie in The Secret Garden, Herbie in Gypsy and Willie in The Sunshine Boys among many others. Other acting credits include the National Tour of Godspell and roles in Cabaret, Funny Girl and many more.
Cherrill Rae (Ruthy): was signed by A&M records in 1980 and had a hit single with a remake of the old Doris Day song “Que Sera Sera”. It was arranged with a percussive Latin beat and killer vocals. It climbed to number one on the Canadian top 40 and stayed there for ten consecutive weeks.Her next album "Dancing up a Storm" became a top 40 success in the United States as well as Canada and Europe. The number-one single off that album "A Little Lovin’” went top ten in Cash Box, Record World and Rolling Stone Magazine. She went on to star in her own weekly Canadian Television variety television show called “The Raes” which aired for four consecutive seasons. She appeared as Mrs.Olivier in The Jackie Mason Musical at The Lake Worth Stonzek Theatre Playhouse.
Dave R. Gordon* (Milty), is the owner of Empire Stage who has been featured in several Empire Stage productions: as Jackie Mason in The Jackie Mason Musical, with Brooks Brassleman in Die Evil Twin Sister, Die!; Ronnie Larsen's Cocksucker - A Love Story; and in several OffBroadway productions including Making Porn; He was in the film Wallstreet, and in several commercials.
Jerry Weinberg (Lester) is pleased to be joining Empire Stage and this talented cast.He has been seen throughout Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
